About The Founder

With an extensive career spanning over 30 years, I've dedicated myself to the heart of the UK's primary care sector, proudly earning my Nurse Practitioner Degree in 1998.

​

Beyond showcasing clinical expertise, I recognised that my efforts were not being fully rewarded financially. In response, I decided to embrace change. My ventures extended beyond healthcare, revealing my entrepreneurial spirit. I explored opportunities in property and other financial investments.

Despite achieving success in various sectors, my unwavering passion for nursing and healthcare led me to contemplate a journey into Nurse Self-Employment. However, I was uncertain about practical and essential steps for a successful transition. Nursing-specific questions emerged:

                                                                                              

How can I make this transition without impacting my current income?

How do I integrate transitioning into my busy home and work life?

What  nursing and regulatory considerations are there?

How do I gain business experience in my specific area of interest before taking the leap?

For me these were crucial  questions which I navigated alone.The absence of suitable support and mentoring to guide me through these transitional steps became apparent. This realisation fueled my commitment to establish the "Nurse Self-Employed Transition Programme."

I adopt a dynamic approach to mentorship, utilising my unique experiences and  talent for discovering practical solutions to confront and overcome challenges. With a positive and personable demeanor, I am well-suited for one-on-one interactions, cultivating an environment that is both enjoyable and professional.
